Elise and Matt were amazing! I called her to get some blinds ordered for our new home. She went right over to the house got the measurements. The color we wanted happened to be discontinued and she called us after 5 the day before thanksgiving to help us get a color that would match. She then got them ordered and they came in the day after we moved in, and she and Matt came over on a Saturday to install them for us. Not only did they go over and above for the blinds, they are great people as well. I would tell anyone to go to them for their window treatment needs.

We loved everything about Made in the Shade. The blinds were beautiful, the plantation shutters are awesome and our silhouette shades are gorgeous. But most importantly, Matt and Elise were amazing. We are very impressed with the quality of shades, service, and install from Elise Anderson of Made in the Shade Eastern Iowa. We do most home projects ourselves and thus started our search at all the big box stores. Before completing our order there we decided to get a free quote from Elise. The prices were close in comparison, and we ended up with a much higher quality product and professionally installed. We are most impressed with the varnished cornices/valences she was able to source that hide the shades and completely blend into our trim work. You don’t even notice they are there!
